Williams Kastner Adds Surety and Construction Attorneys

April 12, 2016 (Seattle, WA) – Williams Kastner is pleased to announce the addition of three highly-regarded local attorneys led by Alexander A. Friedrich and Jeff H. Yusen, founding partners of Yusen & Friedrich. Alexander A. Friedrich, Jeff H. Yusen, and Paul Friedrich agreed to join the firm on April 11, 2016 and will begin at Williams Kastner effective May 2, 2016.  They bring with them over 80 years of combined experience in the areas of surety and construction litigation.

Alexander A. Friedrich

Mr. Friedrich has authored numerous articles in the area of fidelity and surety law, and he has regularly lectured on numerous topics involving surety and fidelity matters. Mr. Friedrich concentrates his practice in the areas of fidelity and surety law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and construction law.  He has been successfully representing sureties and fidelity carriers in complex litigation since 1975.

Jeff H. Yusen

Along with Alex Friedrich, Jeff Yusen formed Yusen & Friedrich in 1987. His practice focuses on surety bond defense work as well as subrogation and recovery work. Jeff has been very active with legislative and industry groups relating to the surety industry, has authored a number of articles dealing with the surety industry and has been a speaker at a number of seminars relating to surety issues.

Paul K. Friedrich

Mr. Friedrich’s practice involves representing sureties and insurers in all aspects of bond claims with a particular emphasis on construction law. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to prosecuting indemnity and subrogation matters on behalf of his surety clients.  Mr. Friedrich has a proven track record of success for his clients at both the trial court level and on appeal.
