Williams Kastner Announces 2019 New Members

December 28, 2018 ─ Williams Kastner is pleased to announce that three new Members will be admitted to the firm, effective January 1, 2019. Earning a place in Williams Kastner’s 2019 Member class are: Katherine A. Christofilis (Seattle), Heidi L. Mandt (Portland), and Daniel J. Velloth (Seattle).

Katherine A. Christofilis focuses her practice on business litigation, with an emphasis on collections, creditor rights, bankruptcy and landlord tenant matters.  Ms. Christofilis also advises clients in real estate disputes, foreclosure matters and homeowner association disputes.  Ms. Christofilis has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine for 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Heidi L. Mandt focuses her practice on advising and representing clients involved in malpractice and professional liability matters, as well as product liability and toxic torts claims. Her practice covers general insurance defense and insurance coverage matters as well.  In addition, Ms. Mandt has significant experience handling complex matters, including construction liability and breach of contract claims, catastrophic personal injury and death cases, and first- and third-party insurance claims.  Her experience and success in the courtroom has established her as a leader in major cases with high monetary exposure.  Heidi is “AV Preeminent” peer-review rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Daniel J. Velloth focuses his practice on commercial litigation and bankruptcy, including disputes between LLC members, corporate shareholders, and UCC litigation. Recently, Mr. Velloth was substantially involved with the representation of the Chapter 7 Trustee of the Bankruptcy for one of the largest personal bankruptcies in Washington history. Mr. Velloth also has experience in intellectual property litigation, including copyright and trademark claims, trade secrets, and non-competes.
