The 2016 presidential campaigns and ultimate election of Donald Trump has caused a significant portion of the United States population to express dismay and concern about not only the potential that there is no way to have a semblance of unity in this country, but also the potential that all of those things that have been perceived as gains for ethnically diverse residents of the United States will not survive through the next four years.
