Stacy Demass
About
Stacy DeMass is an Of Counsel attorney in the Business Litigation practice group and a member of the Transportation Practice Team. She provides comprehensive legal counsel to clients across the transportation industry. With in-depth experience in transportation law, Stacy advises motor carriers, logistics companies, shippers, and other industry stakeholders on regulatory compliance, litigation, and emergency response.
Stacy began her legal career as an intern with the Tulalip Tribes Family Advocacy Program and a volunteer with Snohomish County’s Settlement Guardian Ad Litem program, advocating for parents and at-risk youth. After passing the bar, she served as a public defender for three years, representing indigent clients in misdemeanor cases. In 2015, she transitioned to civil practice, spending seven years as in-house counsel for insurance companies, defending personal injury claims, and serving as lead counsel in thirteen jury trials.
