Stacy Demass

Stacy DeMass is an Associate at Williams Kastner in the Seattle office, and is a member of our Transportation Practice Team. Stacy graduated from Seattle University School of Law. Immediately after law school, She interned for the Tulalip Tribes Family Advocacy Program, where She assisted parents in reuniting with their children. Additionally, Stacy also volunteered with Snohomish County’s Settlement Guardian Ad Litem program. There, she advocated for at-risk youth who were in foster care placement and/or in the adoption process. After passing the bar, Stacy became a public defender for approximately three years, defending indigent clients on their misdemeanor charges in municipal courts in Skagit County.

In 2015, Stacy transitioned from criminal to civil practice. She worked as in-house counsel for insurance companies for approximately seven years. She has represented insureds and insurance companies against claims for personal injuries arising out of motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, construction worksites, and dog bite incidents. She has been lead counsel on thirteen jury trials and sat as second chair on two jury trials.
