About

Erin Thenell is a Senior Associate at the Williams Kastner Seattle office, and is a member of the Litigation and Products Liability Teams.

Erin graduated from Seattle University School of Law. After law school and passing the bar, she joined a local law firm where she focused on mass tort litigation representing institutions and corporations in mass tort events and long standing litigation. Erin then transitioned defending companies in asbestos exposure, personal injury, and construction defect litigation. In addition to defending companies in general defense matters, she represented financial institutions defending lender and creditor rights. Erin also began her appellate practice during this time period.

Erin then added first and third party defense litigation to her repertoire. For the last four years she has defended both civilians in negligent personal injury claims and various insurance companies in contract disputes, while maintaining her commercial litigation practice. Erin has vast experience in mediations and arbitrations.

In 2022, Erin was second chair in a large scale construction defect and delay trial, where she was able to secure a directed verdict for her client. She has been able to secure favorable decisions for her clients in premises liability cases and property disputes. She is an experienced trial lawyer and enjoys handling complex cases for her clients.

In her free time, Erin enjoys being a season ticket holder with the Seattle Kraken. She is a die hard Gonzaga basketball fan, and loves Husky football. She was born and raised in the greater Seattle area, and loves spending time with her family and friends.
