Williams Kastner Welcomes Mark L. Lorbiecki to Seattle Office

July 1, 2019 – Seattle, WA – Williams Kastner is pleased to announce the addition of Mark L. Lorbiecki to the firm’s Seattle office.  Mr. Lorbiecki, who joins the firm as a Member, will focus his practice on all phases of intellectual property law with an emphasis in intellectual property litigation and technology protection, procurement, and transfer.

Mr. Lorbiecki expands the firm’s intellectual property capabilities by bringing his 30+ years of patent procurement, trademark and copyright registration and litigation knowledge and experience to the firm.  He is also a registered patent attorney and has worked in diverse technical fields including software, telecom, machine vision and semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace and avionics, and even robotic dairies and manure composting.

In addition to private practice, he is also an adjunct Professor of Law at Gonzaga University where he also serves on its Board of Advisors.  Mr. Lorbiecki previously served on active duty as a Navy JAG. He has served as President of the Washington State Patent Law Association and as chairman of the Intellectual Property Section of the Washington State Bar Association.

Mr. Lorbiecki practiced with an intellectual property boutique firm in Seattle for the past 20 years. Prior to his time there, he ran his own firm, Mark L. Lorbiecki and Associates, where he worked on a variety of intellectual property and litigation matters.
