The firm’s aviation law practice has included representation of clients in commercial, property damage, personal injury and wrongful death claims involving aircraft ranging from general aviation to scheduled air carrier operations. Specific areas of practice include representation of corporate clients in breach of warranty and product liability commercial actions, lawsuits arising from aircraft accidents, and the defense of insured and self-insured fixed base operators and aircraft component manufacturers.

The firm represents both domestic and international businesses and corporations in the state and federal court systems. Several of our members are licensed pilots. Accordingly, our practice capabilities include representation of pilots in certificate and enforcement actions. Our aviation law attorneys are also active in the King County Bar Association Aviation Law Section.

Our aviation law attorneys coordinate with other practice groups in the firm to ensure that our aviation clients have ready access to skilled, experienced attorneys with practices focusing on other legal services that an aviation client might need, including matters involving: purchase and sale agreements, land use and zoning, tax and estate planning, environmental law, financial services, insurance, and bankruptcy. As a result, we are able to provide full and complete legal services for our aviation clients.
