Williams Kastner Welcomes Doug Green and Ken Yalowitz to Seattle Office

September 20, 2019 – Seattle, WA – Williams Kastner is pleased to announce the addition of Doug Green and Ken Yalowitz to the firm’s Seattle office. Doug Green and Ken Yalowitz, who join the firm as Senior Counsel, expand the firm’s construction and complex civil litigation capabilities.

Mr. Green specializes in promoting and defending the legal interests of design professionals, land surveyors and construction managers. He counsels clients concerning risk mitigation and contract formation; and he represents clients in dispute resolution proceedings, including defense of professional negligence claims, in mediation, arbitration and litigation. He has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell since 1992.

Mr. Green received his JD from the University of Washington School of Law in 1978 after attending the University of Washington for his undergrad. Mr. Green is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Washington as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.

Mr. Yalowitz concentrates his practice in the areas of construction and complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. He has chaired the Construction Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association (2001-2002) and the Legal Affairs Committee of the Associated General Contractors of Washington (2003). He has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell since 1997, Super Lawyers, 2019, and was listed as a 2019 Top Construction Lawyer in Seattle Met magazine. He represents architects, engineers, owners, developers, contractors and real estate professionals in litigation and non-litigation matters.

Mr. Yalowitz received his JD from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1979 after attending Illinois State University for his undergrad.

Previously, Doug Green and Ken Yalowitz were managing members of Green & Yalowitz, a boutique construction law firm in Seattle for the past 30 years. Their practice concentrated on representing design professionals and other members of the construction community in risk management, consulting and all forms of dispute resolution.
