Join Us Online for the Annual Safe Crossings Foundation Luncheon

Williams Kastner is excited that the Annual Safe Crossings Foundation (“SCF”) Luncheon will take place online on October 27, 2020 from noon – 1:00 p.m. (PST). Our firm has a long history with SCF. It was involved in SCF’s creation over 30 years ago, and for over 30 years has supported its work, and had representatives on its Board. We are proud to be a sponsor of this years luncheon.
SCF’s mission is to make grief support services available to children who have lost a parent, sibling or other loved one, regardless of their ability to pay. This need is even greater this year with the losses due to COVID-19 and the unavailability of many of the support systems the children might otherwise turn to.
SCF was established over 30 years ago after two of Williams Kastner’s younger partners died leaving young children behind. Their mothers and our firm wanted to make grief support available to all children suffering such a loss, regardless of whether they could pay, so SCF was created.
You will hear from SCF leaders, the people SCF serves, and services providers along with our award winner. Your online presence and donations will enable the provision of services to these grieving children and allow them to receive the services they need to heal.

We will miss seeing everyone in person this year, but we are excited that this year’s format will enable us to reach not only those who were previously able to attend in person, but even more people who couldn’t attend before.
