Williams Kastner Announces 2017 New Members

December 1, 2016 ─ Williams Kastner is pleased to announce the new attorneys to be admitted to the firm’s membership, effective January 1, 2017. Earning a place in Williams Kastner’s 2017 member class are: Shawn Rediger, Eliot Harris, Malika Johnson, Nicole Mackenzie, & Markos Scheer.

Shawn Rediger focuses on litigation, particularly concerning real estate matters and creditor rights. Her clients include buyers, sellers, financial institutions, landlords and tenants, brokers, escrows and title insurance companies in contested bankruptcy matters. Shawn has represented state court receivers, bankruptcy trustees and unsecured creditors’ committees.

Eliot Harris focuses his practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Eliot was named a “Rising Star” for 2010-2012 and 2014-2016 by Washington Law and Politics Magazine.

Malika Johnson focuses her practice in the areas of toxic tort, product liability, medical devices and personal injury.  Prior to joining Williams Kastner, Malika was a deputy prosecuting attorney in Pierce County. Malika has successfully prosecuted at the trial and appellate levels and continues that success in defense of our civil clients.

Nicole Mackenzie focuses her practice on product liability and mass torts. Nicole manages several accounts, serves as local trial counsel for multiple clients and is a member of one client’s National Coordinating Counsel team. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the firm’s Products Liability and Mass Torts group.

Markos Scheer has represented businesses of all types from Alaska, Washington, Oregon and California.  His practice encompasses a broad range of general business and civil litigation matters, including all types of business transactions, contracts, business formation and planning, insurance, premises liability, risk evaluation and mitigation and the purchase and sale of goods and real estate.
