December 29, 2015 ─ Williams Kastner is pleased to announce that four new members will be admitted to the firm, effective January 1, 2016. Earning a place in Williams Kastner’s 2016 member class are: Hunter Abell, Dana Kopij, Jon Morrone, and Jack Pawlicki.

Hunter Abell focuses his practice on civil litigation, administrative law, and Indian law. A native of Washington, Mr. Abell was raised on a ranch on the rural Colville Indian Reservation in Ferry County. Prior to joining Williams Kastner, Mr. Abell served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps where he obtained extensive trial experience and litigation experience. His legal experience in the U.S. Navy includes his role as Liaison Officer in the Central Criminal Court of Iraq in Baghdad, Iraq where he worked to assist prosecuting insurgents accused of attacks against Iraqi and Coalition forces.
Dana Kopij concentrates her practice on products liability and mass torts and serves as defense counsel for several national product manufacturers. She is also experienced in personal injury, product liability and insurance defense matters. Ms. Kopij has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine each year since 2008.
Jon Morrone has a dynamic practice, which includes advising public entities on Public Records Act issues and compliance. His primary area of focus is labor and employment law, and business litigation. He is also experienced in the areas of personal injury, civil rights claims, Jones Act defense, and insurance defense. The Washington Defense Trial Lawyers named Jon its “Defense Associate of the Year” for 2013.
Jacek “Jack” Pawlicki focuses his practice on business and real estate transactions. Mr. Pawlicki has handled various matters in business operations, acquisitions and land use with an emphasis on advising clients in structuring, documenting and closing real estate transactions, and has significant leasing and financing experience.
