Hunter Abell Named to the 40 Under 40 List

Williams Kastner is pleased to announce that Hunter Abell, a member in the Seattle office, has been chosen as a Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree for 2017.

The Puget Sound Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” program aims to identify people under the age of 40 who are dynamic leaders in the business community. These individuals have an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit that propels the economy today and will for years to come.

Mr. Abell’s practice emphasizes civil litigation, administrative law, and Indian law. Prior to joining Williams Kastner, Mr. Abell served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps.  Mr. Abell is currently a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve.

Mr. Abell possesses considerable experience litigating before federal, state, and tribal courts, as well as litigating in state and federal administrative tribunals. Mr. Abell possesses particular experience in transportation matters, including representation before the FMCSA and in Carriage Of Goods At Sea (“COGSA”) claims. Mr. Abell also possesses experience negotiating and litigating commercial and personal real estate lease disputes.

Mr. Abell is the recipient of the WSBA 2015 Courageous Award and was recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2016.
