Mary Cullen
About
Mary Cullen is an Associate Attorney in the Seattle office of Williams Kastner, where her practice focuses on civil and appellate litigation in labor and employment, business, and intellectual property matters.
Mary graduated from Denison University with a BS in Biology in 2016. She obtained her law degree from Gonzaga School of Law in 2021. While attending law school, Mary interned for Fig. 1 Patent Law in Spokane, WA (formerly SMBC), where she assisted in patent prosecution and preparation of patent applications for technologies in e-commerce, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and more. Additionally, she was a member of the 2020 Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Team.
After passing the bar, Mary gained valuable research and writing experience clerking for Judge Laurel Siddoway in Division Three of Washington State Court of Appeals. When her clerkship ended, Mary relocated from Spokane to Seattle, where she transitioned to civil litigation. Prior to joining Williams Kastner, Mary developed a diverse civil litigation practice representing clients in matters of professional malpractice, including legal and medical malpractice, employment disputes, corporate governance, and personal injuries arising out of construction worksites.
In her free time, Mary enjoys a balance of outdoor activities– hiking, running, camping, and skiing. When she is not out exploring, she is spending time with friends and family, baking, attending concerts, or simply relaxing with a good book.
