Erin J. Varriano
Erin Varriano is a Member in the Seattle office of Williams Kastner. Erin brings a depth of litigation experience representing individuals, small businesses, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 companies in claims involving general negligence, product defect, premises liability, construction defect, professional liability, and employment.
Erin has successfully defended clients in state and federal courts, as well as before federal, state, and municipal administrative agencies. She has briefed and argued appeals at all levels and is accomplished in alternative dispute resolution.
As part of her construction practice, Erin has handled claims involving breach of contract, liens, delays and impacts, and construction and design defects. In matters of professional liability, Erin has defended professionals from various fields including doctors, attorneys, real estate brokers, insurance brokers, architects, and engineers. Her experience includes complex multi-party litigation and catastrophic injury.
Erin has secured multiple victories for her clients early in litigation through aggressive motion practice, effective negotiation, and early dispute resolution techniques. In 2016, she attended the Claims Litigation Management Institute and earned the designation of Certified Litigation Management Professional.
Prior to joining Williams Kastner, Erin served as the Chief Legal Officer for a biochemical company where she was responsible for management of all legal, regulatory, human resource, and risk management issues. Through her diverse professional roles, Erin has developed a truly holistic perspective as a strategic and analytical problem solver. She draws on this experience to find novel solutions to client concerns as well as serve as a trusted advisor in areas of risk mitigation and cost control.
