Cassie L. Bow
Cassie is an Associate in the Portland office of Williams Kastner. She is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. Experienced in a broad variety of commercial and casualty litigation, Cassie has represented businesses (large and small), insurance companies, professionals, and individuals. Her practice emphasizes real estate and tribal law matters.
Prior to Williams Kastner, Cassie practiced with Davis Rothwell, a full service insurance defense firm in Portland. Prior to her time at Davis Rothwell, Cassie worked as a law clerk with the office of Watkinson Laird Rubenstein, where her research focused on business planning, compliance, and liability issues. During law school, Cassie interned with the Oregon Court of Appeals under Honorable Judge James C. Egan. Her internship involved attending court hearings and researching appellate standards of review, statutory interpretation, and various civil law matters. Prior to law school, Cassie also worked as a juvenile dependency/criminal legal assistant for almost three years, where she interviewed clients, attended court hearings, drafted pleadings, reviewed discovery, and assisted attorneys in preparing for trial.
In her free time, Cassie enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and walking her dogs, Lucy (golden retriever) and Shep (german shepherd). In addition, Cassie regularly provides pro bono representation in a variety of pre-litigation civil disputes and compliance matters involving real estate, contracts, landlord-tenant, employment, personal injury, and property damage.
