Williams Kastner’s Wilton “Bill” Viall Elected to Washington State Bar Association’s Board of Governors

April 25, 2011 (Seattle, WA) - Wilton “Bill” Viall, Williams Kastner’s Chief Operations Officer and counsel, was elected to the Washington State Bar Association’s Board of Governors for a three-year term that will begin following the organization’s annual meeting on Sept. 22, 2011. Viall will represent the 8th Congressional District, an area comprised of the eastern parts of King and Pierce Counties.

Viall has experience in both the public and private law sectors. Prior to joining Williams Kastner, he was a partner at Simmons, Viall & Lee and a City Attorney for the City of Normandy Park. Viall’s civic experience includes his service as president of the Highline School Board and as president of the Normandy Park Community Club Board. Viall also was a Washington State Senate Candidate.

The Board of Governors is the Washington State Bar Association’s governing body and supervises all WSBA executive functions. The WSBA’s mission is to serve the public and members of the Bar, ensure the integrity of the legal profession and to champion justice.
