Willams Kastner Attorneys Named to Oregon Super Lawyers List and Oregon Rising Stars List

Portland, OR (July 15, 2011) – Williams Kastner, a Pacific Northwest law firm, announced today that Portland member Eric Neiman has been named to the Oregon Super Lawyers list for 2011, and Portland associates Sharon Peters and Ellen Voss have been named to the Oregon Rising Stars list for 2011.

The Oregon Super Lawyers list, which recognizes outstanding achievement among lawyers from 70-plus practice areas, will be published in Oregon Super Lawyers magazine. Attorneys selected to Oregon Super Lawyers must meet the highest standards of professional achievement, as measured by both their peers and an independent research staff. Only 5 percent of practicing attorneys in Oregon are listed in Oregon Super Lawyers.

Oregon Rising Stars is an annual list that designates the top “up-and-coming” attorneys in Oregon who are either 40 or under or have been practicing for 10 years or less. In order to be selected for inclusion on the Oregon Rising Stars list, lawyers must receive the highest marks of achievement from their peers and an independent, attorney-led research team. Only 2.5 percent of attorneys in Oregon receive this honor.
