Williams Kastner in the News

Native Partners - Effective January 1, 2008, Debora Juarez (Blackfeet) and Gabe Galanda (Round Valley) were elected to member (partner) status with the firm. Debora chairs the firm's Tribal Practice Team, which Gabe founded in 2002. Williams Kastner is proud of the commitment the firm has made to Indian Country through Debora and Gabe's election, recognizing the historic importance of two Native lawyers having simultaneously made partner in one of Seattle's oldest and biggest law firms.

Accolades - Gabe Galanda was recently featured in a national, ABA Journal article titled, "Building Your Own Practice." Gabe was also recently named a Rising Star by Washington Law & Politics magazine, for the sixth time since 2000.

New Team Member - The Tribal Practice Team welcomes Anthony Broadman, who recently graduated from the University of Arizona College of Law and passed the Washington State bar exam. During law school, Anthony volunteered for the Arizona Justice Project and clerked for the Coconino County Public Defender's Office. His tribal practice focuses on tribal litigation, with a particular interest in defending defamation actions arising in Indian Country, and Indian gaming.
