Welcomes Quanah Spencer to Seattle Office
The law firm of Williams Kastner is pleased to announce the
addition of Quanah Spencer to its Seattle office as Of
Counsel. Previously, Mr. Spencer worked as a public policy
lawyer for the Yakama Nation, Coeur d'Alene Tribe and the National
Congress of American Indians. At Williams Kastner, Mr.
Spencer, an enrolled Yakama tribal member, will join the Tribal
Practice Group and will continue to concentrate his legal practice
on public policy in both the local and national arenas.
In his response to Mr. Spencer joining Williams Kastner,
Yakama Nation Tribal Chairman Ralph R. Sampson, Jr. said,
"Through Quanah Spencer's connection to the Yakama Nation and other
tribes, he will bring to bear the best in experience, aptitude, and
motivation to ensure that treasured Tribal traditions, histories,
and priorities are represented. I look forward to continuing to work
with Mr. Spencer as he continues his professional career with the
Tribal Practice Group at Williams Kastner."
Mr. Spencer earned his J.D. in 2003 from the University of
Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado. He received his B.A. in
Political Science from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, in
1998. Mr. Spencer is admitted to practice law in Washington State,
United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington,
and Yakama Nation Tribal Court. He is also a member of the
Washington State Bar Association and the Northwest Indian Bar
Association.
