Practice Group Now Representing Rezhog
Records!
Williams Kastner's Tribal
Sports & Entertainment Law team is proud to announce that it
will serve as legal counsel for Rezhog
Records, a Native American rap group from Washington state.
Formed nearly ten years ago, the Rezhogs
will perform at the 2009 Native American Music Awards ("the Nammys")
in New York City next month, where they will be finalists for two
Nammys: Best Duo or Group and Best Hip Hop/Rap. The group consists
of members from the Yakama, Blackfeet and Puyallup
Tribes.
About the Author
Quanah Spencer is Of
Counsel in the Seattle office. His practice is focused on public
policy in both the local and national arenas. Prior to joining
Williams Kastner, Mr. Spencer, an enrolled Yakama tribal member,
worked as a public policy lawyer for the Yakama Nation, Coeur
d'Alene Tribe and the National Congress of American
Indians..
