Indian Law Conference. Seattle Associate Gabe Galanda has accepted a three-year term as Co-Chair
of the Indian Law Conference, the largest and longest-running meeting of Indian law and policy leaders,
drawing over 700 tribal lawyers, judges, leaders, academics and law students to Albuquerque, New Mexico
every year.
Seattle Member Jerry Creim and Gabe Galanda, WK&G tribal finance attorneys, recently helped KeyBank's Native American
Financial Services program to launch its participation in the federal Section 184 Indian Housing Loan
Guarantee Program. The program is designed to offer home ownership, property rehabilitation, and new
construction opportunities for eligible tribes, Indian Housing Authorities and Native American individuals
and familes wanting to own a home on their native lands. WK&G is proud to team with KeyBank, whose
Indian lending efforts were recently featured in Indian Country Today, in support of
tribal housing and economic development.

published by the American Bar Association Section of Business Law's Business & Corporate Litigation Committee, is believed to be the first of its kind ever published by the ABA.
"Drug Testing - Workplace and Privacy Considerations" This article discusses the adoption and implementation of drug testing in the workplace, the privacy regulations established by federal, state and tribal laws, and finally, an analysis of considerations in dealing with a drug abuser or alcoholic.
