Williams Kastner Welcomes Katherine Steele to Seattle Office

May 11, 2012 (Seattle, WA) – The law firm of Williams Kastner is pleased to announce the addition of Katherine Steele as a member in its Seattle office. Ms. Steele’s practice will focus on civil litigation, with an emphasis on product liability and asbestos defense. She also has extensive experience in complex litigation management, construction defect, wrongful death, personal injury, general maritime law and Jones Act cases. Prior to joining Williams Kastner, Ms. Steele was a partner at Stafford Frey Cooper. She served as National Asbestos Coordinating Counsel for The E.J. Bartells Co. for nearly 20 years.

Ms. Steele holds an L.L.M. from the University of Washington School of Law and Marine Affairs in addition to her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law and her B.A. from the University of Oregon Honors College. She is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a member of the Defense Research Institute, American Bar Association, Oregon Bar Association, Washington Bar Association, and King County Bar Association.
