Williams Kastner Attorneys Named to Oregon Super Lawyers and Oregon Rising Stars Lists

Portland, OR. (November 13, 2009) — The law firm of Williams Kastner is pleased to announce that Portland Members Eric Neiman and George Pitcher have been named to the Oregon Super Lawyers list for 2009, and Portland Associates Sharon Peters, Heather Van Meter and Ellen Voss have been named to the Oregon Rising Stars list for 2009.
Oregon Super Lawyers is an annual list published by Law & Politics magazine list that recognizes outstanding achievement among lawyers from 70-plus practice areas. Attorneys selected to Oregon Super Lawyers must meet the highest standards of professional achievement, as measured by both their peers and an independent research staff. No more than five percent of practicing attorneys in Oregon are listed in Oregon Super Lawyers.
Oregon Rising Stars is an annual list also published by Law & Politics magazine that denotes the top “up-and-coming” attorneys in Oregon who are either 40 years of age or less or have no more than ten years experience practicing law. In order to be selected for inclusion in Oregon Rising Stars, lawyers must receive the highest marks of achievement from their peers and an independent, attorney-led research team. Only 2.5 percent of attorneys in Oregon receive this honor.
Mr. Neiman, Mr. Pitcher, Ms. Peters, Ms. Van Meter and Ms. Voss will appear in the November 2009 issue of Oregon Super Lawyers & Rising Stars magazine and in special supplements in The New York Times and The Oregonian.
