Randy Aliment Published in The Brief on International Alternative Dispute ResolutionSeattle, WA. (August 26, 2009) – Randy Aliment, Member in the Seattle office, is the author of an article published in the Summer 2009 edition of the American Bar Association magazine The Brief, “Alternative Dispute Resolution in International Business Transactions.” The article focuses on the benefits of international arbitration over litigation, and highlights the differences between arbitration in the U.S. and abroad. In the article, Aliment also explains the similarities and differences in the arbitration process in three main international arbitration institutions: the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre (BCICAC), the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), and the American Arbitration Association International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). The article is also published in the October 2009 edition of The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel. |
