Dana Ferestien Explains Benefits of Pro Bono Programs in The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel

Seattle, WA. (August 3, 2009) – Dana Ferestien, Member in the Seattle office, is the author of an article published in the August 2009 edition of The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, “The Benefits of a Coordinated and Focused Pro Bono Program.” In the article, Mr. Ferestien details the firm’s pro bono work done on behalf of the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project  (NWIRP), an organization devoted to assissting low-income immigrants and refugees. Williams Kastner attorneys work with the NWIRP to obtain asylum for individuals from all over the world. Mr. Ferestien explains that the firm’s relationship with the NWIRP, “has been beneficial in many other ways in large part because the firm has supported it through a collective effort that has involved everyone from the firm’s most senior members (partners) to its youngest and newest attorneys.”
