Perry S. Granof Appointed Chair-Elect of TIPS Professionals’, Officers’ and Directors’ Liability General Committee
SEATTLE, WA (August 29) – Perry Granof, of counsel at Williams Kastner and managing director at Granof International Group LLC, was appointed chair-elect of the Professionals’, Officers’ and Directors’ Liability (PODL) General Committee of the American Bar Association (Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section). His term began August 9, 2011.
The PODL General Committee addresses insurance coverage and risk management issues relating to professionals, officers and directors liability policies. Its members are insurance industry professionals, corporate risk managers, and attorneys practicing in this area. The Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association has more than 20,000 members.
Granof provides insurance consulting services for directors’ and officers’ liability and professional indemnity insurance, specializing in international exposures. Prior to founding Granof International Group, he served as vice president and claims counsel with Chubb Specialty Claims, where he was primarily responsible for overseeing the direct handling of complex directors and officers liability insurance, professional indemnity, and financial institution lawsuits filed against non-U.S. insureds and U.S. insureds sued outside of the United States.
