Jake Winfrey is of counsel in the Seattle office. Mr. Winfrey's practice focuses on the defense of physicians, hospitals, dentists, and other health care providers in medical malpractice litigation. Mr. Winfrey regularly advises health care providers on a variety of legal issues including hospital and physician risk management, as well as representing health care providers in Medical and Dental Quality Assurance Commission matters. Mr. Winfrey is a frequently-invited speaker throughout the state of Washington on medical malpractice and risk management issues. He was named a Super Lawyer by Washington Law & Politics magazine in 2011, after having been named to the Rising Stars list six times from 2004 to 2010 by the same publication. Mr. Winfrey received the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Outstanding Litigation Associate Award in 2007.
