Sarah Joye is an associate in the Seattle office of Williams Kastner. She is a member of the firm’s Health Care and Business Litigation practice groups and the firm's Behavioral Health Team. Her focus is on representing clients in medical malpractice litigation and Department of Health Quality Assurance proceedings, including professional licensure actions. She also counsels a variety of health care entities on application of state and federal health care laws, including state and federal privacy and behavioral health treatment laws. Through her practice, Ms. Joye has developed strong relationships and familiarity with many northwest health care organizations and their in-house counsel and compliance officers.

Prior to law school, Ms. Joye worked for three years on health care policy and political campaigns for a national non-profit organization. During that time, she analyzed state and federal health care laws, including mandatory reporting, patient privacy and administrative regulations, drafted legislation regarding reimbursement rates and clinic licensing, and conducted quantitative and qualitative analysis of statewide health data.
