Sanford R. Landress concentrates his practice in the area of debtor/creditor law, focusing in particular on representing banks, leasing companies, other creditors, committees, and debtors in commercial Chapter 7 liquidations and Chapter 11 reorganizations. He also concentrates his practice in commercial litigation including judicial foreclosure actions, receiverships, actions involving commercial leases, complex collection matters, and minority shareholder oppression cases. Mr. Landress has particular expertise in defending commercial creditors in preference and fraudulent conveyance actions in state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court, and in representing creditors and debtors in provisional process matters such as temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and claim and delivery.
