About

Tom Ped is a Member in Williams Kastner’s Portland office. His practice focuses on construction and real estate matters. Tom’s construction clients include general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, for whom he reviews contracts and assists with payment claims and workmanship disputes. In addition, he helps his real estate clients with document preparation for purchase and sale transactions, commercial leases, and other agreements and instruments. A lot of the time, Tom helps people solve problems, which is the most satisfying part of his job. When necessary, he has litigated in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington and conducted numerous mediations and private arbitrations over the past 25+ years. Tom has also been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® every year since 2021.

Tom is also committed to improving diversity in the workplace. As a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, he is proud be involved with the Oregon State Bar’s Opportunities for Law in Oregon program. Tom has also helped coach mock trial teams at Roosevelt High School in Portland.
