Experience:

Randy Aliment's practice emphasizes commercial law advice, business litigation and higher education law. He has represented clients in numerous state and federal courts and administrative bodies in several states and Canada. He has negotiated agreements on behalf of clients involved in commercial transactions in Europe, the Middle East and China. Mr. Aliment collaborates extensively with the firm's Chinese affiliate, Duan & Duan, working in their offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong in his representation of US and Chinese entities in various transactions, agreements and joint ventures. Randy was invited by Governor Christine Gregoire to join her on a trade delegation to Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai, China in September 2010. His experience includes national coordinating counsel in mass tort litigation, securities fraud litigation and contract negotiations on behalf of sports figures. He has repeatedly been recognized as an outstanding Pacific Northwest lawyer including: Washington Law & Politics Super Lawyer, several years; Washington CEO magazine in 2006; Seattle Magazine in 2007; and in Seattle Business Monthly as one of Seattle's "Best Business Lawyers" in 2007. In February 2010, Mr. Aliment was nominated for the King County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division's Outstanding Mentor Award. He was also recognized by the Seattle Met magazine as a "Top Lawyer" in Commercial Litigation for 2010. In August 2011, Mr. Aliment was recognized in the Who’s Who of International Business Lawyers for his international work in environmental law, one of 668 lawyers from 40 international jurisdictions. Mr. Aliment was named the 2012 recipient of the University of Puget Sound’s Distinguished Alumni Professional Achievement Award. Mr Aliment's Martindale-Hubbell's rating is "AV Preeminent"—the highest peer-review rating available.
