Her practice focuses on business and commercial transactions, including corporate formation, financing transactions, commercial real estate matters, as well as general commercial litigation. She also assists gaming clients with licensing and regulatory matters. In addition, Ms. Hur advises tribal clients on various business-related matters. Ms. Hur is conversational in Korean. She was named to Rising Stars for 2005, 2007 and 2010 by Washington Law & Politics magazine. Education:Ms. Hur graduated cum laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations. She also studied at Paris IV University, La Sorbonne, in Paris, France. After obtaining a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Arts in International Studies, she earned her J.D. from the University of Washington where she served as Managing Editor of Production and as a Comment author for the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal. Affiliations:Ms. Hur is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and served as Secretary of the WSBA International Practice Section from 2004 - 2006. Ms. Hur currently serves as Treasurer of the Asian Bar Association of Washington, 2006 - 2010, and the Korean American Bar Association of Washington, 2004 - 2008. Ms. Hur is also the 2010 Treasurer for the Asian Bar Association of Washington Student Scholarship Foundation. She also enjoys being a member of the International Association of Korean Lawyers. Ms. Hur is a volunteer attorney with the King County Bar Association's Neighborhood Legal Clinics program at the Korean Community Counseling Center. She participates in the University of Washington Law School Professional Mentor Program, and has also served as a mentor to several high school students in the Seattle area through the King County Bar Foundation's Future of the Law Institute. |
