Williams Kastner provides heightened communication through the use of laptops, high-speed data connections, e-mail, teleconferencing, audio-visual equipment, Blackberry portable hand-held communication devices, and our attorneys' ability to connect and access the firm's electronic systems on a secured connection from locations around the world. Technology for Litigation Williams Kastner uses Summation software as part of its litigation management technology. As a litigation support database tool, Summation is an invaluable asset, enabling our litigators to quickly and efficiently collect, organize, process and search for depositions, transcripts, paper and electronic documents, and exhibits during discovery and trial. Trial Presentations and Exhibits Williams Kastner recognizes the need for sophisticated exhibits to help deliver refined, powerful and persuasive presentations on behalf of our clients. Our firm has a professional in-house graphics analyst who develops multimedia presentations, computer animations, black and white/color exhibits, and digital video to support Williams Kastner litigators. In implementing these visually compelling exhibits, we use PowerPoint and Sanction software. Document and Image Management Systems The firm utilizes a work product management system called Hummingbird DM, which powerfully organizes large ensembles of documents, images and other work product. This electronic system of document management enables attorneys and staff to access documents quickly and effectively, helping to eliminate lost time in lengthy document searches. The firm also uses eCopy, which provides the ability to scan and convert paper documents into text-searchable electronic images, enabling the use of fully electronic files. Extranet Williams Kastner is committed to meeting the communication needs of its clients, and as such, maintains the ability to implement a secured client Extranet for clients wishing to conduct electronic communication through web-based resources. |
